AF-S NIKKOR f/1.8G Update

I just found out that Nikon has published details of a new lens, AF-S NIKKOR f/1.8G with built in “Silent Wave” focusing.
The lens is constructed with a new optical design using 7 elements divided in 6 groups. One aspherical element is also included in the lens.
The lens can be used on Nikon DX and FX DSLR’s and is similar to a 75mm lens in terms of angle of view for all camera models with a crop factor.
